Since joining Beautycounter I get some repeated questions that I never get tired answering, but I thought it may help you to have a list of answered questions to reference!! If you could only buy one product what would you get? I get this question a lot from college students, or people not wanting to break the bank but are interested in doing a clean swap of something from their beauty routine! This is a VERY hard answer for me because I could go on forever about multiple products! But I’ve narrowed it down to one in each category, skincare, make-up, and body!
In skincare, we have the Counter+ Overnight Resurfacing Peel. Why this one? Well it’s not a part of any specific regimen and can be rotated in for any treatment step in your routine. I use it every other night to improve and balance the texture and some discoloration of my skin. It’s also an excellent choice in treating hormonal acne without being too harsh on sensitive skin
In make-up, we have the Sheer Lipstick! This is one of my best sellers for getting into Beautycounter! My clients love the feel and the perfectly complimenting colors for all skin tones. It’s perfect for daily wear and I would personally recommend getting Poppy for summer!
In body, we have the Sugar Body Scrub in Lemongrass. I can’t sing the praises of this product enough, honestly! It was one of my first products purchased and still one of my favorites! It’s truly worked a miracle on what little kids for years have called my “goosebumps!” on my arms and legs! And it’s like a spa night every shower!!
What sunscreen would you recommend for my family and I? I love this question because, It's June, which in Texas I think means the only time we can go outside without being melted! It’s great to take this window to really soak in some warm rays. Check out this great resource. Especially if you want to know how you and your family can stay protected from the sun while getting the Vitamin D you need! Did you know that without sun protection, skin can be damaged within 15 minutes of sun exposure? Or that blue light from your computer or smartphone can also cause damage? SPF stands for Sun Protection Factor. An SPF of even 25 can protect you from 97% of UV rays.
